If you have not taken classes at UNM-Taos or any other post-secondary institution for more than a year, you must re-apply as a returning student.
There is a one-time application fee of $10.00* due when you submit your application. This fee may be paid by cash, check, money order, or credit card in the Business Office at 1157 County Road 110, Ranchos de Taos, NM, or by enclosing a check with your mailed-in application.
* If you were ever enrolled at UNM-Taos or any other UNM campus, the $10.00 application fee is waived.
If your intention is to enroll in a degree program, and you have earned fewer than 24 college credit hours, you must submit high school transcripts or High School Equivalency (HSE) records, unless they are already on record with UNM-Taos.
- If your intention is to enroll in a degree or certificate program and you are applying for financial aid, you must submit previous school transcripts or HSE records.
- If you do not intend to seek a degree or certificate, you do not need to submit academic transcripts.
- Contact your prior school’s registrar’s office and ask them to send your transcript to:
