The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for all aspects of the academic mission. OAA oversees University curriculum and new curricular initiatives; faculty hiring, retention, and promotion; academic student support initiatives (such as tutoring, testing, and the library), academic advisement, faculty teaching and learning; and the administration of all academic departments, programs, and staff within Academic Affairs. The Dean serves as the Chief Academic Officer of the branch campus

 

We are fortunate at UNM-Taos to have a highly qualified faculty that value teaching and individual student success. Our average class size is 15 students and our faculty loves teaching. At UNM-Taos, a student can receive an outstanding education in over 30 different degree and certificate pathways.
