Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for all aspects of the academic mission. OAA oversees University curriculum and new curricular initiatives; faculty hiring, retention, and promotion; academic student support initiatives (such as tutoring, testing, and the library), academic advisement, faculty teaching and learning; and the administration of all academic departments, programs, and staff within Academic Affairs. The Dean serves as the Chief Academic Officer of the branch campus

The Office of Academic Affairs is organized into six areas:

We are fortunate at UNM-Taos to have a highly qualified faculty that value teaching and individual student success. Our average class size is 15 students and our faculty loves teaching.
