Guided Pathways
Through a blend of synchronous and asynchronous activities, the UNM-Taos team will explore key concepts in the guided pathways framework and learn to apply them in their own contexts. Community College Research Center (CCRC) researchers will help participants apply an equity mindset to examine which students are in which programs, where those programs lead, what courses students are taking, and other data essential for improving academic programs and student supports. These activities will be designed for faculty and staff from across the college, including those who have limited experience with data analysis.
By the end of the institute, teams will have data-driven plans for implementing changes to programs and supports that will help them recruit and retain students, improve student success rates, and close equity gaps. Teams will receive additional support from CCRC researchers through the end of 2022.
