High school equivalency (HSE)
Looking to get a high school diploma? We’ll help you obtain a High School Equivalency (GED or HiSET) and prepare for the college entrance exam (ACT Compass).
English as a second language
Improve your English speaking, reading, writing, and listening abilities with TECC’s certified ESL teachers. Build your confidence in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
ESL classes include a community engagement component that allows you to meet new friends, become involved in meaningful projects, and build your resume all while practicing English skills.
Career development

If you already have chosen your career, we help you find the certifications and skills to meet your goals within that profession. We offer step-by-step assistance in applying for college. To ensure it’s affordable, we’ll also help you find financial aid and scholarships.
College readiness
If you graduated from high school or already have your HSE, these classes are designed to help you enter college with a solid foundation and avoid needing to take remedial coursework.
TECC provides individualized learning plans, free tutoring, computer classes, and field experience to boost your resume and college application.
Reading and writing
Brush up on your reading and writing skills with one-on-one tutoring. Whether you need to improve your skills for a new job, a certification, or to prepare for college, we’ll find a tutor perfect for your level and needs.
