The leadership of UNM–Taos is committed to the health and safety of the Taos Familia. Our goal is to provide a safe learning and working environment for all.

Members of the UNM-Taos Administration Team, Safety Committee, and Emergency Planning Committee have committed to elevating the culture of health and safety to a core value of the institution, and have developed an Emergency Plan, support a Safety Committee, and schedule regular training for implementation of our plans.

Incident Reports

Students and staff members involved in an incident or accident on UNM-Taos campuses should follow the reporting instructions in the flowchart below.

Report Minor Incidents

If you are involved in a minor incident with no resulting injuries or damages, please fill out a UNM-Taos incident report.

Report Major Incidents

If you are involved in an incident resulting in injuries or damages requiring insurance or Workers’ Compensation, please fill out a UNM (Albuquerque Campus) incident report.
