UNM-Taos HIVE (Hub of Internet-based Vocation and Education) empowers Northern New Mexico community members and small businesses to thrive in a digital economy.

The HIVE is a community resource center that empowers individuals and businesses to reach their full potential through educational and entrepreneurial programming and support.

Entrepreneurship

The HIVE focuses all our region’s momentum on the relationships and solutions for small businesses and tech start-ups. Creating awareness that tech entrepreneurship is possible in rural America, leveraging community knowledge to create pathways for tech startups, and tailoring entrepreneurial resources toward tech. The HIVE offers business coaching, a business incubator, The HIVE Pollinator, and various workshops to support our Northern New Mexico entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Education

The HIVE educational programming spurs economic opportunity by supporting workforce development for students of all ages. Programs range from youth coding, one-on-one coaching for technical writing and computer support, workshops, digital certifications, and more.
