Institutional Research

Institutional Research (IR) transforms data into information to provide the UNM-Taos administration and stakeholders with timely, accurate, high-quality information to guide decision-making and planning.

IR disseminates facts that support academic planning and assessment, including statistics on enrollment, student demographics, degrees awarded, graduation rates, and more.

IR supports UNM-Taos faculty and administrators by managing internal recordkeeping, servicing departmental data requests, designing and implementing institutional surveys, supporting grant application and reporting efforts, conducting analyses to generate insights, and fulfilling compulsory state and federal reporting.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement

UNM-Taos Institutional Research is committed to the responsible, inclusive, and ethical use of data and analysis. We recognize that data plays a significant role in representation and access, and we strive to provide accurate and timely information that can enhance the lives of our diverse university community.

All requests adhere to guidelines set forth by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
