img_9194.jpgTo be considered for a work-study award for the academic year, students must complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid and request a work-study award through the Student Financial Aid Office.

WORK-STUDY STUDENT

  1. Must have a completed Financial Aid application on file.
  2. Must be registered in at least six 6 credit hours.
  3. Must be degree-seeking.
  4. Must have received a work-study award for the academic year from the Student Financial Aid Office.
  5. Must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to continue through the spring session.
  6. Must have completed all necessary hiring paperwork with the Financial Aid Office.

STUDENT EMPLOYEES (NON-WORK STUDY STUDENT)

  1. Must be registered in at least six 6 hours in order to be eligible for employment.
  2. Must be degree-seeking.
  3. Must have completed all necessary hiring paperwork with the Financial Aid Office.

New student employees and students who have had any break in service with UNM must present I-9 documentation when submitting hiring paper work in order to be placed on the payroll system.
