Brandon DeWayne
BCSI CAR (him/he) Associate Instructor
Brandon started receiving Rolfing in my early 30's during the time he was glassblowing for a career. He worked with Structural Integrator Jason Rambo (Rolfer), a childhood friend, bartering his glass work for the sessions. Brandon felt that Jason would make out with the better end of the deal, but little did he know he was wrong. Brandon had been living with tension and pain since his teenage years. He was told and felt that his bowed legs were just “Gods” design for him. While receiving the classic 10 series, Jason was seeing and feeling Brandon’s body structure change and for the first time in his memory he could, with great effort, touch my knees together while standing upright. Jason worked through a yoga community and he complimented Rolfing with a daily yoga practice. Jason noticed that during Brandon’s glassblowing days that he was sitting more upright also, pain and tensions were diminishing. Over a year’s time, He started thinking Brandon should go and study Rolfing SI and start to help others like him.
Brandon left his glass job and enrolled at The Rolf Institute of SI in January 2012. He finished his basic certification in March 2013. He opened practice in May 2013 and worked through two different yoga communities in Pennsylvania. His practice self-ignited and that gave me extra funding and desire to continue studies. Brandon trained in Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy and his advanced training in Tokyo, Japan. Brandon has studied Neural mobilization, Rolf Movement, visceral, energetic and osteopathic studies to broaden my approach and concepts.
Brandon moved from Pennsylvania to Santa Fe, NM in 2018. Santa Fe has a great community to practice within as well as continue to learn and grow as practicing bodyworker. The mountains and desert are a great asset to his overall space of wellbeing and also as a place to feed his soul, spirit, and recreational activities. Brandon feels honored and love to share his practice with clients in helping them aspire to meet their goals on their own journey and path in life. From once balancing glass on center turning around a blow pipe, He now find passion in helping bodies be more balance around our own midlines in relation with gravity.

Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts from UT Austin in 1999, his Rolfing Certification in 2014 and his Advanced Certification in 2019 from the Doctor Ida Rolf Institute.
