COMPASS Testing

The COMPASS test is required to take English or Math classes at UNM Taos.

CASA offers free, onsite COMPASS testing for prospective UNM Students.

• The COMPASS test is A progressive, un-timed test that places you into the appropriate English or Math level.
• The test is offered (usually) Monday - Friday at 10:00am, 12:00pm & 2:00pm. Call 575-737-3695 to make an appointment.
• For this test, you will need: A social security number and 2 to 2 1/2 hours of free time.
• Cell phone use is not permitted for the duration of the test. Use of cell phone will void the test.
