If you’d like to become a teacher, scientist, artist, business owner—or simply a more well-rounded person—we have an excellent faculty here in the Enchanted Circle who are ready to share their passions and expertise. You can take a course in Pueblo Pottery—or get in shape with a class at the Southside Spa. You can learn about writers such as D.H. Lawrence—or learn to write a sustainable business plan. You can learn about local geology—or go on a study tour to Peru. The choice is yours!
Our faculty and staff are available to help you complete certificates and associate’s degrees. We also offer bachelor’s degrees and graduate study through the UNM Extended University. Many students transfer from our programs to four-year colleges and universities and UNM-Taos graduates go on to earn more than others over the course of their careers! In addition, many people simply feel enriched by the depth and breadth of their educational experiences with us.
IMPORTANT: Starting in Fall 2006 you will need a new student ID number to register.
Also: The LoboPhone (telephone registration) and LoboWeb (online registration) systems have replaced I-TEL. Please see page 8 in this document or go to http://countdown.unm.edu for complete instructions on how to get your new student ID and how to register via LoboWeb and LoboPhone: 505-338-7900.
As Interim Executive Director I look forward to visiting with many students and community members in the coming months. I’m elated to be able to work with and support a dedicated staff and faculty in making UNM-Taos an educational destination for this area. Please stop by our offices at #115 Civic Plaza Drive in Taos and see how we can build our futures together.
Kate M. O’Neill, Ed.D.
