Lily-Marie Blecher, DOM
Dr. Lilly-Marie Blecher is a Doctor of Oriental medicine and a Naturopathic physician. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Portland State University. Then she graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, the oldest Naturopathic medical school in the country. She completed ten years of apprenticeship in Chinese medicine in a public health clinic and was the speaker of her graduating class after six years of Naturopathic and Chinese medicine doctoral training. She received a certificate in Homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy. She then completed two years of a competitive residency in Connecticut in family medicine and primary care, and practiced there for four years before moving to Taos, New Mexico and starting private practice. She is an adjunct professor at Northern New Mexico College in Espanola, NM, University of New Mexico- Taos, and The Graduate Institute in Connecticut, where she teaches courses in Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy, Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology, History of Medicine, Medical Ethics, and Philosophy of Medicine. Lilly uses anything that is available in the broad spectrum of medicine to support her patients’ healing journey. She is deeply grateful to her teachers, and for her calling as a healer and a teacher, and is dedicated to educating herself and others and improving access to holistic medicine. She loves living in Taos with her boyfriend and their newborn baby Max, and their dogs, cats, and chickens.
