This department is overseen by the Dean of
Instruction and is operated by the Instuctional Staff. The
Dean chairs the Academic Council, which includes the chairs
of each division, or Academy Heads, who coordinate these curricula
and programs are called Academic or Vocational Program Coordinators.
The entire lower-division curriculum falls under the purview
of this Department, as do the Library/Learning Resource Center
and affiliated instructional programs.

2005 Solar Summer Intensive at UNM-Taos was a hit!
|
29 students took part in 3 different courses focused on sustainability and solar energy use. Gael Minton taught Organic Farming and had an energetic group of people visiting and lending a helping hand at several Organic Farms in the Taos area and a new soil farm in La Jarosa, Colorado.
