7th Grade Program Initiative

The seventh grade initiative is one of our new developments. People who participated in the Walk for Non-Violence created talking circles at the Taos Middle School with the 7^th graders.

The UNM Taos College and Career Prep Staff decided to take the lead on the new initiative and we did various group discussions on topics such as violence, drugs and alcohol, career exploration, bully, body image and self-esteem. We encourage student not to take the dead end path of drugs and alcohol but to set goals for themselves and accomplish their dreams.
